We have so many fabulous local businesses around, we have highlighted a few which may help you with your gift buying this festive season.


You can never go wrong with gifting clothes or accessories, take a look at Wardells Wardrobe where you can find collections for adults including their bamboo collection which is handy for when the weather is hot or for those who have hot flushes!
They have a wonderful range of bags and accessories too.

Do you know someone who likes to laugh? Then how about getting tickets for The Funny Mummy Show,  Alyssa is a local comedian who is touring next year after having shows at The Churchill and Edinburgh’s Fringe.

Calling all tea lovers – have you tried this new tea from local business owners Amit and Swati. Vayu tea is a beautiful blend and the chai is delicious with oat milk.  These teas are a lovely present by themselves as they come beautifully packaged or add them with other local products and make a Christmas hamper.

Lauras Larder, Nanny Smiths Deli, Porters Produce and Cole’s Family Butchers all have range of local and non local produce to purchase.

Maybe you will surprise someone with their favourite concert tickets or sporting event, if so then Liz is your lady, she can find you tickets for all kinds of concerts, sporting events and days out, more than a gift as you are creating memories.

Who doesn’t love some time for themselves, why not treat someone to a lovely relaxing treatment, we are lucky to have plenty of choice in the area, here are a few that stand out;

At Skinwise – as a skin expert Ali has various facials to choose from, including helping with rosacea, hormonal and dry skin. Ali has a lovely relaxing clinic and offer’s a Spa Day along with other amazing treatments including a personal favourite the  slimoynick machine which leaves you feeling lighter, tighter and a truly relaxed. At the moment Ali has a very generous offer on buy 2 gift vouchers and recieve 3 (you could even treat yourself this Christmas!)

Nails – Emily has a calm and relaxing nail salon in the heart of Farnborough Village, and offers various hand and feet treatments including vegan gel nails. She has also created her own cuticle oil which makes a great gift along with a voucher.

Reiki – This is a wonderful gift for all reiki lovers or for those who don’t know what to buy the person who has everything or perhaps someone who is teetering on trying reiki, an invasive non touch treatment which can help with an abundance of health and well-being issues. Sandra has her own treatment room in Orpington but can also offer zoom reiki for those who live afar. Her reiki membership group is also another fantastic gift for those who want regular monthly treatments and so much more.

Massage, a total treat for the mind and body Anne Duneclift has her own cabin nestled in the back of her garden. Escape here for a few moments and enjoy one of her massages there are various ones to choose from to help you relax.

Reflexology – Nicole is a specialist at this hand or foot treatment and not only is it a relaxing treatment it can also be beneficial for many health reasons to.

Soulistic therapy – offers various treatments but we love her Facial Rejuvenation – the natural face lift a brilliant way to de-stress and  is deeply relaxing. Dipped, a brilliant alternative to taking chocolates round for a host, Dippedldn creates beautiful chocolate dipped strawberries, not only do they look incredible but they taste delicious too.

Fizz sticks – these are a great gift for those you know who are always flitting around from one place to another, these fizz sticks pop the energy back into the body in a healthy and tasty way. There are plenty of flavours to choose from, my personal favourite is the pomegranate!

This beautiful journal has been created and designed by an award winning entrepreneurial young lady and is a fantastic gift for both boys and girls, a place for them to doodle, write down their feelings and have fun with the puzzles.

For all music lovers, how about buying some vinyl from The Orpington or a gift voucher for their delicious lunches and brunches.
